Big Cat Rescue: Celebrating 20 Years of Protecting Big Cats - Aug 06,2012

The exploitation of big cats is a multi-million dollar trade that also tolerates tremendous abuse and abandonment of these beings. BigCatRescue.org, is the worlds largest accredited sanctuary that is devoted entirely to exotic cats, such as lions, tigers, leopards and bobcats. This amazing organization, founded by Carole Baskin, has been raising awareness and advocating the protection of these precious beings for the last 20 years. Carole will also talk about her team's work to raise awareness about the heinous treatment and abuse of big cats in Hollywood, circuses, local amusements, the laws issuing the licenses and other issues they have successfully helped educate the public about.
