Haddie's In Our Closet: An Unexpected and Unusual Friendship -Oct 07,2015
When most people go away for the weekend, they come back with great memories of the things they did, the people they saw, etc, etc. What if you went away for the weekend and came home with a new friend? However, there is just one slight detail about this friend that might be a bit difficult for you to explain. It just so happens that this friend is actually the spirit of an African-American nanny that has been stuck in her home for the last 150 years! For someone like J.H. Soeder, this was a very interesting situation because although he had been communicating with spirits since he was a child, he never had one that was stuck in a different time. This certainly was a challenge! In the book, Haddie's In Our Closet, J.H. Soeder talks about his unusual friendship with a spirit named Haddie. The relationship was not unusual because she was a spirit but because she was stuck in a time when white men did not befriend slaves and treat them as equals. J.H. has the unique opportunity of enlightening Haddie about how much the world has changed as well as helping her to “make the decision” to move on. In this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, host, June Stoyer talks to award-winning author and famed animal communicator, J.H. Soeder about this inspirational book which is about friendship, family and enlightenment. This will really open your eyes about what Hollywood tells us about the spirit world and the huge difference about what the true reality is. Stay Tuned!

Recently, there has been a lot of information that suggests that neonicotinoids do not imact honeybees. Dr. Randolf Menzel pioneered the honeybee as a model system in neuroscience with respect to color vision, olfaction, learning, and memory. Combining levels of analysis from natural behavior to single neurons, he traced perceptual and cognitive capacities to their neural and cellular substrates. He established the first evidence for the role of the insect mushroom body in memory formation and characterized the cellular and neural correlates of different phases of memory. This particular research explores the use of three neonicotinoids, (neonicotinoids, imidacloprid, clothianidin and thiacloprid) and their impact on honeybee navigation. A Global Effort To Ban Canned Hunting -Oct 26,2015
Recently, a German multi-millionaire named Rainer Schorr ignited a global outrage when he paid $60,000 to kill Africa's biggest elephant. He later posed with his 'trophy' without any remorse for his actions. This was merely a few short weeks after American dentist, Walter Palmer shelled out $50,000 to shoot and kill Cecil the lion. Cecil was beloved by tourists and locals in Zimbabwe. Palmer also showed no remorse as he posed with the once majestic lion. Although the global community was outraged, their actions remain perfectly legal. Wine: The Good, The Bad and The Ingredients Your Label Didn't Tell You About -Oct 28,2015
The average consumer takes for granted that not all wines are created equally. Conscious consumers know that there are 200 ingredients on the list of government-approved additives for wine. Unlike food, wine manufacturers are not required to list their ingredients (which can include animal proteins, oak chips, sulfurs, yeasts, enzymes, preservatives, and “Mega Purple” which is a brand of highly concentrated wine color) on the side label. This renders most consumers to be clueless about what exactly is in their wine and what is used to produce it. In this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, host, June Stoyer talks to award winning expert, Alice Feiring about her best-selling book, Naked Wine, the process of natural wine making. Alice Feiring is an award-winning food and wine journalist and author of the Battle for Wine and Love.
